Open Space Technology

                                                                    ----------Turning Complexity to Opportunity

What it is:

An Open Space gathering is a new kind of meeting, conference or workshop in which the participants create their own program of self-managed discussion groups, experiential workshops and planning sessions, related to an overarching theme. Open Space allows diverse and often very large groups of people to get together, discuss issues of heartfelt concern, pool their knowledge and develop plans for collaborative action.

Application of Open Space Technology

Realizing the critical need to involve more people in organizations, many leaders are choosing to use this inclusive large group process to generate critical input to and implementation of strategic plans, as well as unlocks potential creativity and energy. These events are being facilitated with companies, government agencies, NGO and volunteer groups, educational institutions (faculties and students) and local communities.

Open Space combines the rigor of a great board meeting with the energy of conversation around a coffee pot.
